Background
I formed Mansarde Strategies, LLC in early 2024, to provide a home base for the work I do to support social justice NGOs. Strong and healthy nonprofits require strong and healthy ‘bones’ – the operational infrastructure on which the brilliant, passionate, mission-driven work of the organization takes place.
With over 35 years of professional experience, including in leadership positions in the private, public, and nonprofit sector, I have seen how critical strategic operations planning and work is to mission success. Navigating changing landscapes — unionization, security risks, and hybrid/remote structures — benefits from intentional, values-aligned planning. Mansarde Strategies, LLC provides such support.

SERVICES
I understand the complexity of building and maintaining strong and healthy organizational infrastructure in mission-driven NGOs, including those operating in a unionized environment. Through Mansarde Strategies, LLC, I offer a range of services designed to strengthen capacity, internally and at the Board level, including:
- Assessment of operations functions at organizations, to build on what is working well and to identify sustainable solutions for growth/strengthening.
- Assessment of compliance and risk management issues at social justice organizations, including legal services nonprofits.
- Coaching at the C-suite and leadership level on targeted issues.
- Working with leadership to identify and expand opportunities for outside contracted/pro bono support for organizational functions.
- Confidential investigations of internal complaints and concerns.
- Coaching on workplace issues, including navigating unionization and bargaining.
- Implementation support for NGO collective bargaining agreements, including policy and process updates/development and training.
- ‘At the table’ values-aligned support for collective bargaining (selected organizations only).
- Interim/acting support at the C-Suite/Senior Management level.
